We Want To See Jesus
These words were spoken in John 12:20 and the answer is astounding; it is found in John 12:2-25. Here Jesus explains again that we need to "die to our selfish desires and become more like Jesus." It's called discipline! "Except a kernel of wheat fall into the ground and die it abides alone, but if it dies, it brings forth a lot of fruit." Our children are influenced by the secular world; with its teachings about evolution and same sex marriage, etc and some still call themselves Christians! I'm not trying to argue. The Bible makes it clear in Matt 7:13-14 'wide is the gate, broad is the road that leads to destruction and narrow is the road that leads to life and few find it.' This is a problem for Christians living like the world, because Jesus should be shining through us!
My prayer today is, "draw me closer to you lord! I long for a deeper relationship so the world can see you through me.
